The Belle Weather is a hurricane. We are the heavy, rhythmic storm of an acoustic guitar, the deep pulse of an upright bass, and the soaring elegance of cello, violin, and voice. We are the eye of the storm and the damage done – equal parts modern folk and indie rock – a fusion of inspired anthems and the art of simple storytelling.

Opener: Peter Thomas & Steve Vorass

In 2020, cellist Peter Thomas (cellist for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra) & drummer Steve Vorass (both members of the Milwaukee group I’m Not A Pilot) created MusiConnect. The mission of MusiConnect is to bring people together during the Covid-19 pandemic by creating a safe performance space in different communities around the greater Milwaukee area. MusiConnect performs free concerts on the driveways of volunteers’ houses that feature a diversity of artists and music genres. By building community, MusiConnect can help bring peace and camaraderie to a world that is so divided due to social injustice. Simply, music heals, connects us, and is one of the greatest gifts of humanity.
