Joining us again as Presenting Sponsors, our Signature Sponsors, Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin with Network Health, are bringing Wauwatosa another night of musical entertainment. We extend a huge thanks to them for their continued support of Wauwatosa’s free and family-friendly Summer concert series.
2025’s weather was not kind to Tosa Tonight with three rainouts and a flood forcing one evening to be celebrated away from our home park. However, we are excited to bring back a few shows that were missed last season with Lost Orange Cat and Adrian and Meredith.
Last year, The Delta Routine was scheduled to start the night ahead of Adrian and Meredith. Unfortunately, The Delta Routine is on hiatus, but drummer Kyle Ciske is back with a new band: Lost Orange Cat!
Hailing from Milwaukee, ‘Electric Desert’ is the best description for Lost Orange Cat. Incorporating Rock, Western, and even psychedelic music for a blend that will have you wanting to come find the cat again and again. Consistent high-energy live performances and hard work in the studio keep Lost Orange Cat pumping out fresh material regularly. So if you’re seeking a little country, with some rock and roll and a pinch of funk, Lost Orange Cat delivers the goods!
Our opener may be local, but the headliner for the evening is truly global. A look Adrian and Meredith’s schedule has them bouncing all over the globe.
Adrian and Meredith, the dynamic duo behind The Adrian and Meredith Band, have journeyed from their humble Midwest roots, to the heart of East Nashville’s music scene, to international showcasing and summer touring. Along the way, they’ve forged kinships with members of storied acts like Th’Legendary Shackshakers, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Calexico, and Gogol Bordello, who have become not just heroes but mentors and colleagues.
Their music has taken them across Europe, where they’ve performed for Ukrainian refugees in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Germany, alongside the rest of Europe, spreading joy and solidarity through their art. They’ve graced iconic stages like The Grand Ole Opry with The War & Treaty, Folk Alliance International, and Levitt Pavilions across the USA.
Critics and fans alike have taken notice of Adrian and Meredith’s new songs, most-notably “Klezmer American”, “Stop the Spiral” and “NFT” as accurate accounts of being a human-being in 2024. The hard-selling band of John Kveen on a driving upright bass, an overly-talented Ben “The Odyssey” Reiff on drums, and unstoppable Ken Wenzel on hot-jazz saxophones and guitars, makes this act difficult not to dance to!
Carson City Levitt AMP hails their performances as “A World Class Performance,” while No Depression magazine describes their sound as “Roots Rock Perfection.”
Tosa Tonight along with Froedtert/MCW and Network Health Wisconsin are thrilled to bring our community this night of entertaining and original global music. Bring ready to dance, both of these bands get people moving!
