Greg Koch & Koch Marshall Trio

Special Guest:
Ivy Ford
Froedtert and Network Health

If you’ve got the blues, we’ve got the cure… more blues! And not just any blues, but blues brought to you by two of the Midwest’s finest: Ivy Ford and Koch Marshall Trio!!

Our Signature Sponsors, Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin with Network Health, are bringing Wauwatosa this amazing night of musical wizardry. We extend a huge thanks to them for their longstanding support of Wauwatosa’s free and family-friendly Summer concert series.

Our opener for the evening would be a headliner at any other musical series. She is the indisputable queen of Chicago Blues: Ivy Ford. Ivy is a multi-instrumentalist, capable of playing the piano, guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone, but it’s when she is slinging that polka-dot Stratocaster (or any Stratocaster) that she really electrifies audiences.

Noted as one of the “50 women in blues,” and one of Chicagoland’s top entertainers, Ivy Ford is versatile, talented, and an old soul. From singing the blues to being sultry, she is an indigo artist whose gift connects those who are around her and those who listen. Whether leading a full band or serenading a small audience solo on stage, Ivy Ford commands an energy that is most magical.

We hope you’ve got some energy left after Ivy’s performance — you’re going to need it — because up next is Wauwatosa’s incomparable guitar ace, Greg Koch, with his equally talented cohorts in Koch Marshall Trio.

Greg Koch is a guitar player’s guitarist known for his blues-infused, stylistically diverse compositions and electrifying performances. With a prolific career spanning over 20 records, Koch has carved out a unique niche in the music world, blending elements of blues, rock, and jazz into his signature sound. At the helm of the Koch-Marshall Trio, Greg is joined by his exceptionally talented son, Dylan, on drums, and Hammond organ virtuoso Toby Lee Marshall. Together, they deliver powerful live performances that captivate audiences both domestically and internationally. Their shows brim with bold improvisation, spirited interplay, and a dynamic energy that resonates with blues purists, guitar enthusiasts, and lovers of off-the-cuff musical synergy alike.

The Koch Marshall Trio has graced Hart Park’s Rotary Performance Pavilion stage before, but we confess: it’s been too long since they’ve performed at Tosa Tonight. We’re glad to be rectifying this oversight in 2026. It’s going to be a gristly one!
